Paula and i were friends a long time ago. I had moved away after getting married and lost track of her. I am saddened to see that she is gone now and I missed the opportunity to get reacquainted in this life. But we'll see each other in the next, I'm sure. My condolences and prayers to all her family.

My heart goes out to her sons--of whom she was most proud. I will be praying for the comfort of all those who are hurting as I am. I will miss the sound of her voice and her laughter. Ms. Richey was a remarkable lady that is loved dearly by the Scott family.

My heart goes out to Paula's family. I remember the grace she had at the loss of her home, and I hope she held the same strength through the loss of her heath. I will always remember her calm demeanor with her students, and how she surprised me with her wide range of interests beyond the classroom.

Paula had an indomitable spirit, and though we hadn't seen each other for many years, I always felt she was a true friend. We raised our kids together and believed in things greater than ourselves. We encouraged each other and had many happy moments during our Summerville years. I am grateful for having had the opportunity to know her in this life and pray her boys will find peace in knowing that their mom lives on.

It is with great sadness that I learned of Paula's passing. I remember her as a child at the river and Contentment Bluff with family and friends. She has touched so many lives and enriched their souls. May God bless you all as you grieve her passing and look forward to seeing her again. God bless you all. Mary Jane

I'm almost afraid to write this thinking Paula will correct any missed spelled words or format. Ha-Ha. It is with a heavy heart that I have to acknowledge the passing of a dear friend, Paula. I understand what you're going through, because I've experienced the loss of someone very dear in my life, too- and even though every person has to get through a time like this in their own way, I know you will come through. Someday, the pain will ease and the memories will bring confort, just as they did with me, and soon you'll find yourself back to what life you have and have the comfort of a love that will never go away. I am so sorry for your loss, With kindest thoughts and deepest smypathy, Dewberry and family.

I was greatly sadden today when I heard that Paula had passed away. She was a great teacher and encourager to my son, pushing him when he needed pushed and understanding when needed. She always told him that he could do so many things when he put his mind to it. She treated my son like he was hers. Paula's passing makes me realize the importance of keeping in touch with friends and family. She will be greatly missed. My prayers go out to her son's.

My heart and prayers are with the family during this trying time. Words cannot express what a wonderfully caring person she was, my life will not be the same without her. She will be sorely missed.

My heart is broken for all of you. Miss Paula touched so many loves, mine included. She was the biggest encourager to me, aside from my own Momma. She was my second Momma and she often said I was the daughter she never had. My child rearing years would not have been the same without the wild and crazy spirit of Miss Paula Richey. My life will forever be changed by the remarkable woman she was. She left a great legacy for Ben, Josh, and Drew. I only pray I leave my mark as courageously as she has done. Love y'all so much. Wish I could be there.
